About me
I have been working in Community Education for over 10 years in School Age Care. Currently I supervise five sites with Minneapolis Kids, which have before/after school programming as well as Minneapolis Kids Juniors, a full day pre-k program.
I specialize in program quality and continuous improvement systems and practices; I have a deep history with accreditation in the school age care field. I lead a number of programs through the MAAP accreditation process, was a certified MAAP coach for both internal and external school age care programs, and served on two workgroups to help guide DHS and Ignite Afterschool on sustainable, pertinent, and effective accreditation programs for the field. I built and oversee the internal quality improvement system used at Minneapolis Kids, and run the Quality Improvement subcommittee of the MCEA School Age Care Committee of which I co-chair.
