About me
Courtney Green is a community education professional, systems thinker, and emerging Black woman leader whose work is rooted in equity, racial justice, and human-centered systems change. With a background in social work and experience leading equity and justice work in North Carolina and across other community and organizational spaces, Courtney brings both practical insight and a deeply relational lens to her leadership.
Courtney is skilled at seeing patterns within organizations, naming systems of harm, and helping people imagine more equitable and humane ways forward. She believes systems should serve people, not the other way around, and that the people most impacted by those systems should have meaningful opportunities to shape them. Her work invites communities to move beyond performative inclusion and toward practices that are more honest, participatory, accountable, and connected to human dignity.
