About me
Christa Seymour is a Public Health Nurse at Olmsted County, located in southeast Minnesota, on the School Age Services team. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and from Johns Hopkins University with her Master’s Degree in Public Health.In her current role as a Public Health Nurse, she supports youth in a variety of capacities helping them reach their health goals. This is done through classroom education, community presentations, small group facilitation, one on one consultations and supporting youth led initiatives. Christa is the coordinator for the Nature Rx initiative, a small group formed in 2023 with the goal of improving the mental wellbing of youth through spending time in nature. Christa resides in a small town in southeast Minnesota with her husband and three children. In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors and spending time at her family cabin.
