About me
Deb is living her passion as the Director of Community Education for Owatonna Public Schools. Her professional work experience includes serving as an extension educator, news editor, city treasurer, director of public relations, classroom teacher, student activities advisor and life-long dairy producer. Over the years, Deb has served as participant and leader on a host of professional, community-service and agricultural related organizations. She loves, loves, loves topics involving continuous improvement, student achievement, and innovative partner-based programming. Areas of expertise/ interests include learning that evolves for a lifetime, collaborative programming, partnership building, systems-thinking, continuous improvement, innovation and making budgets that support program priorities. Professional training includes education, vocational oriented education, extension education with UW-Stout and organizational leadership and communication with Concordia University,St. Paul. Her legacy is impacting learning for life through community-based programs and caring for the staff who bring life to learning!
