Dustin Vincent serves as a School Safety Coordinator with the Minnesota School Safety Center-Department of Public Safety, bringing a diverse background in education, public safety, and emergency management to the forefront of school security.Building on his 17 years of experience as a classroom teacher and coach, Dustin transitioned into specialized safety leadership. He previously served as the District Safety Coordinator for the Northeast Metro 916 Intermediate School District and held pivotal safety roles at Stillwater Area Public Schools and St. Croix Preparatory Academy.Beyond his strategic work in schools, Dustin is a veteran volunteer firefighter with the Bayport Fire Department, where he has served his community for over 11 years. He also serves as an adjunct instructor for the I Love U Guys Foundation, helping to implement the Standard Response Protocol (SRP) nationwide. By blending his experience in the fire service with his foundational roots in education, Dustin provides a practical, multi-layered approach to safety that prioritizes both physical security and the emotional well-being of students and staff.Dustin is a member of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) and serves as a Master Trainer for the National Threat Evaluation and Reporting Program (NTERC). Through these roles, he works to bridge the gap between law enforcement and education to identify and mitigate potential risks before they escalate.
