2026 MCEA Fall Conference

Jeanne Dickhausen is honored to serve as Minnesota's Head Start Collaboration Director at the Department of Children, Youth, and Families.  Jeanne's work is to represent Head Start children, families, and programs in state systems by coordinating and leading efforts to convene federal, regional, state, and local stakeholder groups. She is passionate about creating and advancing opportunities to promote information sharing, planning and mixed delivery opportunities for Head Start children, families, and programs. Jeanne holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education degrees from Concordia University. Prior to working at the state,  Jeanne worked in a large urban Head Start program and brings her 30 years of experience as a Head Start parent, teacher, mentor teacher and administrator to her daily work.  Outside of work, she enjoys being out in nature and tending to her garden.
